Free Dog Training Tips

In the world of dog training, "reactive" is the term for a dog that barks or growls relating to individuals or to include other dogs in an abnormal position or undesirable. Although some reactions in humans and dogs should - even barking or growling, the dog is a reagent that will not stop barking or growling, and it seems at least to the casual observer to be threatening. Of course, the dogs rarely threatened, instead of falling into the category of simply "annoying" when they bark incessantly. In both cases - whether large or small dog - such apparently aggressive and uncontrolled behavior is not acceptable and must work with the dog to correct them.

First, however, it is important to note that aggression is not always the reason for reactive dogs. Sometimes simple excitation or, more often, fear will lead to a dog bark at people and especially other dogs. Canines that are not well socialized during their months of training puppy (which means they are not often around other people or dogs) often have problems with fear. In essence, they are rare by persons other than their people, and also unusual with other dogs, fear and this fear manifests itself exposed as excessive barking. Also, remember that your dog stress level is high during such encounters, filled with bark, so as to also make your dog a favor by working with him to tame nature of the reagents.

The process of working with a reactive dog is actually quite simple. You'll need another person to work with, and another dog. Other dogs should preferably be well-mannered, but should also be a dog with the dog is not already familiar. To begin, ask your dog on a leash while using your spouse has a dog on a leash, too. When you leave the dog and his dog on a leash aid should be about 50 meters away, or at least outside the area where your dog reacts normally.

Help your man and dog combo should then move ever closer to you, but more slowly. What is this place should be in close collaboration with your dog, giving them "high value" treats and conservation in general, his attention through praise and treat interspersed. This process is known as "cons-conditioning, and the thought behind this is that your dog will be trained to watch you when another dog or person is in sight, rather than react to the onset of barking and aggressive.

In this sense, your assistance and your dog should continue to get closer and during that time, you should continue treatment and praising your dog. Note that the first time you go through this process, your dog is very likely that you could not ignore some extent or divided attention between diet treating're he and another dog. It is a natural process and packaging-cons could take some time and several sessions with you and another dog. However, the process can be played with just helping to move slowly near you with his dog.

If it reaches the point where the dog reacts and do not pay attention to you, simply move more help back, moving as the perceived threat to your dog. Continue to process and approach to new aid. At the end of this process which may take several more sessions, the dog must be trained, or "conditioning" to look at you especially when faced with another dog - or another person if that provokes a reaction.

After going through this process several times and to establish that your dog knows to look at you now to experience the other dogs, it's a good idea to go to a place where the dog is likely to meet other dogs. Continued treatment and leaving the module training. Finally, with patience and hard work, your dog will always remember you, faced with another dog, even if it is long established that this event does not a cure. At that time, your role is to ensure that the dog, illness or a kind word, everything is fine. Using this method for conditioning, your dog must stop reacting to other dogs barking and people control.
